How to Prosper In a Bankrupt World: What You Need to Know and Do

I urge everyone to read this book...a few times.

There is no precedent for what we are seeing in our world today. This realization is our starting point. It is by this understanding that we can move beyond legitimate fears, to hope for survival, and then to positioning ourselves to achieve prosperity. Denial about the state of our global economy is dangerous, and a doomsday outlook is debilitating. What we need is a clear and honest assessment of what is happening, and specific guidance about what we can do.

The information that will save us is available, and the solutions we seek are accessible. But we will not acquire what we need to know through our traditional institutions, nor find the crucial answers from the usual sources. The economic system as we've known it is not only broken, I believe it is irreparable.

"Never in history has the world been in a situation where virtually all major industrialized democracies are bankrupt at the same time. And many feel that because there really is no precedent for what will happen in the next few years that our future looks bleak, if not terrifying. Were I still stuck in my old Wall Street mindset, I might share this dark and pessimistic view. Sure, I'm concerned about what's headed our way, and I'm extremely concerned for those that remain unprepared. However, there is a big flip side to this coin. You see, it's in times just like these where massive wealth is created."

These words are taken from, "CRASHPROOF PROSPERITY: BECOMING WEALTHY IN THE AGE OF RISK," by Kip Herriage. Kip is the CEO and Co-Founder of Wealth Masters International and creator of the top-performing Vertical Research Advisory Investment Newsletter. Kip was Vice President and Money Manager for top Wall Street Investment firms for 15 years. He left the Street and began his own company when realization dawned and awareness of a higher purpose moved him to become a servant leader helping everyday folks who wouldn't othewise have access to this kind of information. Kip is one of my mentors and his wisdom and commitment to helping others has changed my life.

After 23 years of formal education, what I know is this: the financial education we need in order to face what is coming will not be found in mainstream media, through traditional academia, and certainly not through business as usual. We need the honest, unflinching perspective of the contrarian, free of all conflicts of interest, and outside the reach of all so-called "special interests."

After a long career where I held positions of leadership, but always as an employee, I am now loving being an entrepreneur. Part of my education as an independent business owner and affiliate marketer, is the importance of mindset. Mindset, success principles and contrarian thinking have shifted my paradigm and vastly expanded my vision.

With deep gratitude for what I've learned, and a passion for helping others, I am more convinced than ever that we need to become not only better informed, but differently informed. There are many dots out there, but few are connecting them in a meaningful way. Given my optimistic proclivity and resistance to anything other than a "the glass is always half full" worldview, it took me some time to wake up and smell the peril, as well as see the possibilities. Now I am wide awake and sounding a warning, along with singing an invitation.

There are things about money that seem to be known to only a select few. Do you know how the Federal Reserve was formed and what it does? Do you understand what determines the bailouts of our banking institutions and who really benefits from those decisions? More importantly, do you know who is paying for them?

There are forces which have been put in motion that will have eventual and inevitiable effects. We live in an ordered universe, with natural laws. Through working with Bob Proctor (seen in the movie, The Secret) I've been studying the seven natural laws of the universe. The power, beauty and elegance of these teachings is remarkable, and they too, have changed my life.

What I could never have imagined nor certainly didn't expect, is what I've come to understand about how money fits into this awesome and predictable picture. Kip expresses it this way.

"Money doesn't ever really go away, even when economic indicators are at their lowest...Both money and the energy that binds the universe share a common, fundamental trait. Like energy, money never disappears. And, just as waves and particles of energy remain in a constant flow throughout the universe, perpetually changing into mass and back into energy again, money similarly follows value from place to place, changing hands as it moves from the ill-informed to the well-informed ."

Kip's sense of urgency about the importance of our having this infomation in our heads, hearts and hands is why he wrote the book from which these quotes come.

In the 60's Abbie Hoffman wrote a book entitled, "Steal This Book." In a similar refrain, I want to say, Buy This Book. It gives history, numbers, percentages, commentary, cites other authoritative sources, and provides specific steps which you and I must take to not only survive, but to thrive. There is only one way that the effects of all of these forces and factors can play out. Please put yourself on the winning side of this massive transfer of wealth. Become differently informed. Be among the well-informed. Everything you've saved, invested in and worked for is at stake, and in motion.
